Courage | Remy Human Hair Lace Front Wig (Hand-Tied)

So I had to deduct a couple of stars....

1. the cap did not really hold up all that well. it got loose (and I normally wear petite caps, so I don't think I stretched it out too much, but I suppose it is possible). All the silicone and polyurethrane still holds it in place on bald heads, but it just does not have that snug fit it had before.

2. I had it cut and thinned and it was still a bit too much hair for my personal taste. Just so dense that it was too much and made it look less realistic in my opinion (but I do realize that is a personal preference)

It is still a great wig, but I have since gravitated more towards synthetic wigs and more variety. I don't think I would spend this much money on a HH wig again.

I LOVE this hair. it is soft, has a fantastic texture and beautiful movement. The hair itself is better than other wigs I've purchased by far. Now for the information about the cap, I would like to add that I do pretty solidly fit into the petite cap category. That was actually part of the reason I purchased this particular piece. I was hopeful that this would actually fit my head since it was meant for those of us without hair tucked up underneath. Unfortunately, the cap is downright baggy on my head. The back silicon/polyurethane flap portion doesn't even touch my head and the ear "tabs" gap approx a centimeter. I unfortunately realized too late that the CAP CANNOT BE ADJUSTED. As such, i lost the opportunity to return it. I can wear the piece with glue/tape, but I'm disappointed as the information on the wig suggests it's good for both glued and glueless use and I am not a fan of every day glue use.

I have been wearing wigs for 20 years now and this cap beats them all! It feels like it is custom made. The cap is a size petite, which I believe will fit most women with total alopecia (completely bald head). Because of the construction of the cap you will not need any glue or tape it will not slip. I went to get it cut ans styled at a salon and the stylist combed, cut styled manhandled it like normal hair and it did not budge! ( I did not get it washed though. I have not tried to exercise and get all sweaty, so not sure if it will move then, but I don’t think it will. So much for the cap. I do not think it could be any better, honestly!

The hair is beautiful. I got a rooted color, because I do not like the “checkerboard” on the cap when getting highlighted colors, it shows too much when you are completely bald, so I would recommend getting either blended colors or shaded (rooted) colors, those are uniform at the “root” of the hair.

Quick comparison to my other favorite wig company, Ellen Wille: I have been a pretty loyal Ellen Wille customer and I still like their wigs (human hair or otherwise), but this Jon Renaud Evolution style wig is my new favorite! The lace front is softer and more comfortable than Ellen Wille’s, which can be a bit scratchy, when you have a sensitive scalp.
