All my life my beautiful Momma has gone to the beauty shop twice a week to “get her hair done”. Every Saturday it was washed and teased and set perfectly. Every Wednesday it was just reteased and reset. And of course on any special occasions she would go on other days. My Momma was blessed with only handsome boys and now that circumstances are what they are, well her boys aren’t too good at fixing hair. It would be rude to tell her age but I am almost 55 and her youngest. One day she mentioned “just getting her a wig”. So I did a little research, and with help from her hairdresser, selected this Acclaim style for her in the Platinum Mist color. It is a soft color; it does not look “gray” and it does not look “blonde’”, which is actually close to her hair color (which she does use Fanci-Ful, but that is a secret!). Ideally it would be just a bit darker, but it is definitely close and everyone is happy. We took her and the Acclaim into the beauty shop and the hairdresser taught us how to fix it. And how to put it on with a cap thing underneath. We were very happily surprised at just how close it is styled to the way Momma likes. Ideally it could be just a bit longer, but everyone is very happy anyway. It is nice and fluffy (I suppose I should say volume) and it is almost curly. She looks beautiful!!!
