I finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase a wig after my hair started thinning very noticeably this year. After a lot of research I had picked out this style and was willing to spend nearly $1,000 on a quality piece when Wigs.com ran a sale, so I said "If not now, when?!". I originally requested the ombre colors, but I was told they are on backorder and possibly will not be distributing these colors??? Instead, I went with the color on the main model -24BT18S8. It is a little blonder than I usually kept my natural hair, but then again, I was always complaining that my stylists never went blonde enough for me, so the color is close to perfect! I find the wig looks better a bit curled, rather than straight. I might get the back trimmed to give it more a a "Swing Bob" look that would make it look more natural when worn straight. The cut just looks a little goofy straight or right out of the box... like it wants to be a Swing Bob but doesn't quite get there. I did pluck the part to give it a more natural look. I did over pluck a little in the front, so I will be more mindful on the next unit I purchase. I also sewed in 3 wig clips, as the unit does not come with any and I feel the clips keep the unit in place more securely than bobby pins. In all.... I love it! The color, the hair quality, the value - I can't wait to buy my next Jon Renau!!!

So...this was my first "wig venture" into human hair and now I'm hooked

I bought color B8/27/30RO and it is so nice to find a nice ombré color from Jon Renau!

After washing initially, there was some color run-off, but I have been told this is normal.

I thought that I could just blow dry her and style her as I would my natural hair, but the texture of this hair is much more coarse, so it is critical that I put a heat styling product on her to help smooth out the fiber.

The lace front does come out fairly far and is slightly off for my skin tone, but not enough to complain about. I will probably cut the lace back in order for it to look a bit more natural on me.

All in all, this style rocks!

I purchased this wig and the Sienna from elsewhere but wanted to review. I ended up loving the Nicole more than the Sienna which I didn't expect! The highlighting is gorgeous and blended but be aware that 12FS8 has a lot more brown in it than the JR stock photos show (think lots of dark lowlights mixed in with the blonde). The hair is silky and smooth easy to style and the cut itself is fun and versatile. The cap is soft and comfortable allows for minor adjustments and the amount of hair is perfect for the length. My Nicole has some shorter 'fly away' hairs on the mono top but I actually like it and think it makes the wig more realistic since everyone's hair has fly aways. The mono top on my Sienna was too thin but the mono top on the Nicole seemed a bit thicker and more natural looking... I dab some makeup along the part to hide the mono/dark knots a little more. The JR human hair is a 50/50 Indian/Chinese blend which I find okay in quality. Treat it carefully and keep it moisturized and it will last. It arrives with a light 'sanitized' hair smell so I recommend you wash it or at least air it out before wearing it. My favorite way to wear this style is loosely curled it's young and pretty but still professional. She is a little bit shorter than shown in the model images everyone has a different length face/neck so this will vary. I never thought I'd like short hair this much but Nicole changed my mind! She ended up being my favorite wig. Very happy with her.
