I was a little nervous trying this.. I've had some meh experiences with Jon Renau wigs. The "Mila" was supposed to have that modern, loose wavy look but arrived with tightly coiled ringlets and didn't lay anything like the photos. This pic is the Belle Tress Balance with almost NO manipulation after receiving it. I could stand to play with it a bit more to get it looking totally natural, but I can't believe how good it already looks! I chose butterbeer blonde since the ashy tone with roots is very similar to my pre-chemo hair. I also loved that it came with and is meant to have a center part.
I think you can see there's a lot of hair/fibers on this one - very full and just a bit of initial shedding. The lace front is trimmed for you, and there's a bit of lighter, less dense hair at the edge to make the border less "hard" and more natural. My only criticism/surprise was that this came with a really unexpected zigzag part a la early 2000s lol. It was so perfect and odd..a little water, holding my and down, on the newly formed, straighter part and just a quick blast with a blow dryer did the trick.
I'm just SO excited that this worked and looks natural! I'm going to read up on caring for a synthetic wig (my other, former every day wig is human hair), but the good news is I can afford to replace this one if the fibers start to look bad. Please don't stop making this wig Belle Tress!
Finally, I just have to add that customer service at this site is amazing! I saw this…
