    Falling apart

    I have had this wig for about 8 weeks and the netting is unraveling. I have worn this brand for 10 years and this hasn’t happened before.

    Upstaged changes

    I actually give this wig zero stars because it has changed so drastically. I have Upstaged from a few years ago, and this not the same piece. It's flimsy, thin and too shiny. It has been ruined for those of us that prefer more density, rather than less. There are many women like me that will no longer be interested in Raquel Welch wigs and that's too bad. I loved this style but will move on to another source in the future.

    Not The Same!

    I own 5 wigs in this style - updating to a fresher version about every 9 months due to daily wear during very long work days. The newest one in RL14/22SS Shaded Wheat that I received in December 2024 is not like the others! In the attached picture the top row shows well-loved and multi-washed wigs that still have great waves and body - even the top right one that is 4 years old. The newest version is the bottom wig which is completely straight, thin and red! I now notice many of the newer reviews from repeat customers are equally disappointed with this changed version.

    I happen to love the original version of this wig - a little dry shampoo to tame down shine, and just finger styling to tame and shape the volume. I get regular compliments and even my most honest friends say they can't tell it is a wig. This new version is super thin and the clingy fibers are directed straight into your face with zero body or wave. Please bring back the original! There is already a Cameron for people who prefer less volume and straight fibers. Wigs.com is my trusted source for my post-cancer hair loss, but in the meantime I will have to go elsewhere to try and locate this favorite.

    so confortable BUT

    This is one of the most comfortable wigs I've tried, BUT it's way too dense with too much hair for me even though the weight is only 3.2 oz. The color I chose was Iced Cafe Latte and was very dull looking, certainly compared to the other pieces I have or tried in this color. Unfortunately I will return this piece and hope they'll make it eventually in a less dense version.
