The Risk Comfort Wig by Ellen Wille is a short wig with textured layers and is made with the most natural, comfortable cap. The lace front provides styling options while providing an extremely natural looking hairline. The hand-tied cap is made with comfortable material and perfect for anyone with a sensitive scalp. The cap is also adjustable and lightweight. This wig is styled to create a feminine boy cut with versatility. To further personalize, add styling products and wear forward or spiky.
The temple-to-temple lace front is pre-cut and ready-to-wear. The monofilament top is hand-tied, gives you natural movement, and allows you to change the part around. The sheer material used for the lace blends with all skin tones to give the look of your own hairline. The material used on the sides and back is soft and comfortable. The ear tabs and neckline are lined with velvet for added comfort and keep your wig feeling secure. You can adjust the cap size up to half an inch using the smooth Velcro straps. The synthetic hair is pre-styled, ready-to-wear, and maintains its style after washing.
Risk is available with just a lace front and monofilament crown.

Was the first time I bought Risk Comfort. I do have two Risk lace front wigs - which I really like but wanted to try Comfort with the monofilament cap. Hair fibers were softer and cap more comfortable but too big - so disappointing. It did not lay on the crown of my head, just a big poof in that area. My other Ellen Wille wigs are also petite- average and fit really well. I assume the different cap construction made the difference in fit. I had to return it - so I do appreciate the simple return policy of your company.

This short wig is so easy to style in several different ways with just your fingers or a wig comb. The mono top and lace front are excellent for the comfortable fix. I love it.

Unfortunately the color wasn't becoming. It had much more of a grey look and had more density than expected too; returned and got a quick refund.

Positives first: The cap is cooler, smoother on a sensitive scalp, the lace front and internal seams are all softer - exactly as advertised. Texture and color are good, as one would expect from Ellen Wille. But as someone who started with the "basic" model of Risk, and thought "comfort" would be very similar...I did not find this to be the case. The density of the hair is far, far less, in the "comfort" model. So for me, not comparable to the much thicker scalp coverage I was looking for, and needed, to mimic my homegrown hair, during chemotherapy. But if lighter/sparser follicle count is more like your own normal, it could be a good product. I will keep as back-up, but continue to rely on the "basic" model of Risk for regular wear, and feeling prettier.
