Take my review with a grain of salt. I am a first-time wig wearer and have no idea what I am talking about.
This was my fourth purchase in an attempt to find a wig to wear for my courthouse wedding since I'm growing out a short pixie cut. Out of box, it looked fantastic (see photo). This was the style I was going for and the exact color of my natural hair, so it was the winner.
I've tried wearing the wig a couple of times outside of the wedding and I just don't like it. On the top of the wig, near behind where the lace part stops, there is a bump in the hair. I can't get it to smooth down to save my life. I've felt around that area under the cap to see if the cap is maybe bunched up there, but it's not. In the image, I drew a blue line where my scalp is so you can see how much lift that part of the hair has. It might not look as bad in the photo as it does in person when you're actively turning your head around to see it at all angles. It's only that small area that has it. It might not look so bad if the lift was spread out more.
I did end up keeping it for the wedding, since I was running out of time and had already wasted $40-50 in return shipping fees. I styled it in a half ponytail. I know the wig wasn't made for that purpose, but it did look cute when I put it on until I left the house. I don't like how it looks in any of my wedding photos though. (Once again, I know that isn't the purpose of the wig, but if you are looking to style one similarly, you might not…
