I was looking for a shorter trendy gray style and I absolutely love Ellen Wille's density wigs. I wanted a low density, natural looking style and chose Esprit in Silver Blonde Rooted. I am totally gray, 65, and although my bio hair is mid back length it is so thin, spotty and flat it is very unattractive. I've tried longer wigs or toppers to blend with/look similar to my natural hair but there is always too much hair and of course, long wigs will mat and clump after a few wears. Plus, I absolutely love the look of the darker roots.
This style and color is fabulous and the lace front is non itchy. I darken my temple area to match the dark roots and the look is seamless. I couldn't keep this style out of my face so I did cut bangs (which I do with many of my wigs) and I think it looks so cute! I have have had so so many compliments, starting from the very first time I wore this! People comment that my hair is so cute. Acquaintances think I've cut my hair and gotten lowlights. Strangers tell me they wish they could get this color or that they love the waves.. I just smile and say it took me so many years to embrace and find this look!
The key to being happy with wigs is either finding a style that looks great out of the box or with a little styling and works with you; or thinning, trimming to make it "yours."
