Dress Rehearsal by Raquel Welch is a heat friendly synthetic wig from the Sheer Luxury Collection. The mid-length hair has long, feather-cut layers to create natural volume. The soft bangs frame the face and can either be worn on the face or swept off the face. The hand tied monofilament part and temple to temple lace front give this elegant wig its natural look.

    So comfortable and easy to wear

    I’m a first time wig wearer. My thinning hair had reached the point where I felt it was time to do something about it, so I watched a ton of YouTube videos videos and found Wigs.com. So far they are great to work with. I picked Dress Rehearsal because it was close to how my hair used to look. I’m a long hair girl and this wig is so perfectly what I was looking for. It is so comfortable to wear, even for a first timer. I love this, I’ve had it for a few days now and it’s relaxing into my style, easy to wear and stylish without being fussy. Love it!

    A beauty!

    It’s hard for me to find a long wig that looks good on me but I have to say, this one works!! Shaded biscuit is my go to color. The cap it to die for. I’m not crazy about the mono part but knew that had one when I ordered it. Not disappointed!!

    Try this if you loved Spotlight!

    This is such a cute, layered style that perfectly accentuates the cheekbones. It reminds me of the cult favorite Spotlight (also by Raquel Welch) so if you loved that one, definitely give Dress Rehearsal a try. With this style I am sure to keep leave-in conditioner in the fibers at all times and I keep a wide tooth comb, mini heated brush and mini spray bottle of water with me as I go about my day. A quick refresh midday keeps the fibers soft and pliable. The luxlite cap is one of my all time favorite caps across brands, it’s super comfy and has a nice amount of stretch. This color Shaded Biscuit is also an absolute fav of mine, a nice mix of cool and neutral tones with touches of warmth throughout. Perfection.

    These layers are everything!

    Loving Dress Rehearsal even more than I thought I would!

    If you love Show Stopper or Spotlight Elite then you will love Dress Rehearsal.

    I got Dress Rehearsal in one of my favorite colors Iced Latte Machiatto and the color didn't disappoint! Cool toned blonde with shaded rooting.

    After wearing for a few hours the ends did have some tangling. Easily combed out using a wide tooth wig comb.

    Dress Rehearsal has a comfy hand tied cap and left monofilament part. If you like to part in the middle or right side then I recommend Spotlight Elite for a similar style and cap. It has a full monofilament top for parting anywhere.

    The color reveals shortcomings

    First, I gave 5 stars on another review on this same wig, different color. So, it's this particular wig and color that will make me return it.

    Some other customers have said that the coverage is not as secure in terms of when the wind blows, you see the cap beneath very easily (my husband said the same thing, I was standing under a slow fan). But my other one was black, so it's harder to tell. If it's gray though, which this one that I got is, it's easier to see the issues.

    The way the hair lies and flops on this one is weird. And yes I know you can rework it with water, heat, etc., but usually, when I get RW pieces, they come pretty nicely right out of the box. Having to rework it (and then not be able to return it, so you're taking a bet it will be better) is not something I like doing. It should be pretty good straight from the box and then you decide to keep it and make it yours through restyling as needed.

    The hair just didn't look right. the way it lay and moves. Maybe it's just this piece and this color.
