This is my very first wig purchase! I selected Racquel Welch for the quality, after many hours, over many months of research. I was not disappointed. Obviously, I don't have much experience with owning other wigs to compare, but I know quality when I see it. I can find no fault with this "On The Cover" style. The feel of the synthetic hair is absolutely unbelievable--it truly feels real. I couldn't believe it. There is a LOT of hair on this piece, so much so that, for my petite facial features and my 70-ish age, it did look a little artificial on me until I purchased thinning shears and a beautician's razor and very, very carefully thinned it out to where it looks more natural for me. Now it feels right and I can wear it out of the house. I put a cute little headband with it and it looks absolutely adorable. My bio hair is almost the same color and cut as this piece, but my sharp-eyed neighbor kept looking at my hair when she was talking to me, trying to decide what was different. I told her it was a wig and these were her words exactly: "I just think it's super cute." So that was my first experience wearing a wig outside and I'm happy. This RW piece is really nice. My circumference is 22 and I got the average, which fits me snugly. I got the "Black Coffee" color, and it's just a nice dark brown, though not as dark as my bio hair. Close enough, though. It's a beautiful brown.
