What is different about Hair Society Wigs?
The Hair Society Luxury Collection wigs are specifically designed for women with severe or total hair loss as the cap is smaller and not meant to be stretched out to fit over hair. This 100% hand-tied, monofilament top is gorgeous and made with a more natural density so you will never look like you are wearing anything but your own hair! If you have biological hair and want a wig from the hair society collection, you should be a true petite size as your hair will add circumference. Has some good features but does not stand up over time also very sparse hair throughout and not full mono top as noted in discription just a mono part also not fully hand tied it has machine wefts sewn in at nap and at ear tabs

Splendid color Sandy Blonde Rooted!! Extended front lace 100% hand tied! This one has some issues considering the cost in comparison of performance. The extended lace front does stretch out over time and gets very itchy and the hand tied is not completely true there are sewn in wefts at nape and sides also it is not a full mono top it has only a part. Crown is sparse and shows scalp if not combed just right. I love what this wig is attempting to give but it does need improvement! Fibers are great however I steam curled mine because it was just to flat and thin so I used low heat with some water to put some beachy waves in it as you can see in my picture. (left pic right out of box and right pic after curling NOTE: this is not a heat friendly fiber curl at your own risk LOL) Wanted this one to be the "ONE" but it has some way to go to get there! Wigs.com you are awesome great "go-to" to see the latest wigs and I love the videos which is a great tool for those of us who have to wear wigs as well as for those who choose to wear!! Keep up the great work!

I am a full time wig wearer due to alopecia areata. This wig is very light and comfy however lacks in quality in my opinion. States on several websites that it is "100% hand tied" cap, however back has machine weft sewn onto a full cap and side has some of the same. It says full mono top but it is only a Mono side part and you cannot part on other side because hair is sparse and knots are so large it looks unnatural. Now the positive side is that the fiber is very soft, wig is light and comfortable. the extended front lace is nice however it does loosens up and lifts over time. I purchased Sandy Blonde Rooted. Hair is very sparse but performs okay. Now I thought it was much to flat and straight so I used steam heat to curl mine. (this is not recommended by manufacturer) I used very low heat and some water spray. It will cause the fibers to be dryer and less soft. However I like the effect. I use this wig daily and have owned it since July 2017 so it is holding up weell. Very little shedding. I have attached two pics one right out of box an another after I curled it.
WWigs.com7 years agoDonella, Thank you so much for your feedback. Yes, there are machine wefts sewn in to the nape of of this style. This is the best way to achieve the look that lays sleekly down in the back. as the density is lowered for a more natural look, the wefts are the best way to make sure the hair flows in the waterfall pattern and not stick out at all as monofilament can do. You should be able to adjust your part but your comments will be conveyed to the manufacturer to inform them that there may be adjustments they should make. You are correct, steam can make such a difference on bringing the movement back to the fiber... but this should only be done by those who know how as it can easily ruin the fiber. Thank you for your feedback... although it is not all positive, you are helping others make their decision and you will likely help the manufacturer with improvements to their products. The overall cut of this wig is nice, and the hair is beautifully silky. This is however the worst mono top I have ever seen. The hair is in a very very sparse machine made looking grid which shows no matter what I do, and the knots are huge. This particular tobacco rooted looks like mocca rooted, I have several wigs in both colors.
I put too much product on it trying to make it look presentable, no luck, otherwise I would return it.
