Best Selling Men's Wigs

Best Selling Men's Wigs

For men, few effects of aging hit quite as hard emotionally as hair loss. Male pattern baldness, or androgenic alopecia, is the most common cause of hair loss for men. It’s so common, in fact, that it affects 50% of men over the age of 50. It isn’t just an issue of middle age. For those with heredity baldness, 25% of them will start losing hair before the age of 21.

Despite how common it is, most men are embarrassed about the condition and try just about everything to reverse the problem. There’s no shortage of supposed “cures” for male pattern baldness. There are prescription medications, such as Rogaine or Propecia, that work to regrow the hair. For more immediate results, there are hair implant procedures.

None of these treatments are ideal, however. Rogaine is a topical medication applied to the scalp and can cause burning and stinging. Once absorbed in the skin, it can cause more serious side effects like swelling, weight gain, and fainting.

Propecia, on the other hand, is a daily pill for hair regrowth. The reported side effects of this drug include depression, decreased sex drive, and an increased risk of some cancers.

Alright, so you can skip the prescriptions, but the hair implant procedure can’t be that bad, can it? It depends. First, it is a surgical procedure, which carries risk, and requires downtime for recovery. Second, it can be crazy expensive - and usually requires several sessions. Third, and most importantly, the procedure can fail.

If you are reading this and are a man battling hair loss, you should absolutely consider wearing a wig. The wigs in this day and age are unbelievable. They look realistic and natural, so no one even knows it’s a wig. Plus, modern technological advances have made wearable hair incredibly comfortable.

Here are the main facts though. Wigs are infinitely cheaper than hair implant procedure sessions. There are no terrible side effects to a wig (except some scalp sweat every now and then)!

At Wigs.com, we understand that the biggest concern for most men is how natural the hair may or may not look. That’s why we offer options such as lace front and 100% hand-tied wigs for men and women.

The main difference between wigs for men and women lies in the cap construction. Male wigs are designed differently to better fit a man’s head. Otherwise, they are almost the same. Both can be made with synthetic or human hair. If you want more information on the different fiber types, be sure to check out some of our blogs on the subject!

If you need a place to get started, below I’ve listed our top sellers for men’s wigs

Please note that our men’s wigs are designed with a lot of hair so you can take them to a stylist to be cut to your desired look. Your best hair, your best style.

I really like your mens wigs, my beard is almost white and I would like a wig to complement my beard.
