How to Wash the Ignite Human Hair Wig

Proper care of the Ignite Human Hair wig helps preserve its lifespan and appearance. We recommend washing the wig every 6 to 8 wears with shampoo specially formulated for human hair wigs, like BeautiMark’s Pure Care - Hydrating Shampoo for Human Hair. After washing, place the wig on a wig stand and allow the cap to dry for 24 hours. Any remaining moisture can lead to mold or mildew growth. Once your wig is done drying, smooth out the hair with a wide tooth comb on the base and a boar bristle brush through the mid-lengths to the base. 

*Please Note: When washing the gray human hair blends, also use wig shampoo specially formulated for human hair wigs. Using the wrong formula can dull the hair fibers and lose color vibrancy. 

How to Style the Ignite Human Hair Wig

Whenever you heat style the Ignite Human Hair wig, always use a digital temperature-controlled tool. For human hair, we recommend keeping your heat styling tools below 350°F. For styling the grey human hair blend shades, we recommend keeping the temperature between 270°F–280°F to keep the fibers from melting. 

Before styling your wig, always apply a heat protectant spray to prevent damage to the fibers. Use a flat iron to tame frizz, particularly around the nape and face, and finish with a cool shot of air to set your style. Pro Tip: Style the hair gently to avoid putting tension on the fibers. 

For added shine and a polished look, a light finishing mist can be used. Regular detangling with a wide tooth comb and using the appropriate brush for each section ensures your Ignite Human Hair wig stays sleek, voluminous, and beautiful wear after wear.
