Our Wigs.com ambassadors prove you can still enjoy all your favorite activities while wearing wigs. If you’re curious about how to keep your wig in place without falling off, here are some helpful tips:
Secure your wig. - Using wig tape and adhesive helps prevent slippage by creating a strong bond between your scalp and wig.
Wear a wig band. - Wig grips help give a little more security, so your wig stays in place.
Use bobby pins. - Insert bobby pins near the hairline to keep your wig anchored in place.
Accessorize. - If you’re going to be out in the elements, use hats to help keep your wig down.
Have the right fit. - Make sure your wig fits just right. It should be snug yet comfortable, staying securely in place. If it feels loose, revisit your head measurements and compare them to the brand's cap size options.
Adjust the cap. - Check to see if your wig has adjustable tabs or straps. These features will be located in the nape of the wig. Play around with the adjusters until you have the right fit.
