After wearing this wig for six months, it was completely different. It was no longer silly and straight. Dipping in the sink to wash, it turned into a mass of tangles, a giant dredlock where it was difficult to find where my head would fit inside. That mess took three hours to comb out. I actually bought two of the same wig to switch off, a double wrong decision. I have been trying to condition and moisturize for two months with little improvement. I dyed one of them. That typically makes hair smoother, but dying made it worse. I bought from another website. I first wrote a positive review and went back later to update it. Then my review was taken down and flagged as "inappropriate."

I finally have the look I have been searching for in a human hair wig that did not cost me a fortune. I picked up this wig with the 50% off sale, and I am so glad I did. Of course, I haven't owned it for a long time, and I'm hoping that the quality will hold up, but so far I am so very impressed.

Even straight out of the box, the wig looked great. I had a few wispy bangs cut into it, and put in a side part (which necessitated cutting a little bit to match how the face framing looked compared to the other side. Otherwise - no other alterations needed. The wig has a lovely long bob with some layering already styled in, and the fully hand-tied cap lets you style in many different ways.

It looks incredibly natural. I don't look like I'm in anything other than my hair. It's not too bulky, the initial styling was great, and the hair feels soft. The highlights and color in my wig (I purchased Creamy Cocoa) make a beautiful auburn/red - a little bit lighter than what I had been wearing. The color is lovely.

This is the most beautiful and natural color that is close to my own... but with more auburn/coppery-brown. I decided to keep this one after seeing 4 colors in this style. The lace front and mono is more believable than Raquel Welch and even Jon Renau ones, and I've sample a lot.... a lot! Each sample that I receive, I share with co-workers and husband. They all agree that Louis Ferre has most believable lace front and mono top too. It's been a few wks, and I still can't wear it. since more need to be cut in layers. It needs to be thinned out more, and I need the roots darkened (with caution). I can do everything myself other than cutting layers. I'll take to a salon for cutting but not darkening roots, as I've experienced most salons not protecting the lace and mono.... darkening those too, in error. It just takes some time, and I work too much. But after I do complete these tasks, I will upload a photo of the finished product. The only downside to this product is the hair is dense and hardly curable with a curling iron. I only use low to med heat because I don't want to ruin the hair. But Velcro rollers (overnight) do work well!! The curl will last for 6-8 hrs strong... then it turns into wavy. I'm still hoping to find a human hair piece with medium spiral curls.... in my color. Just received it three days ago. Very processed him in here but nice just out of the box. When human hair is overprocessed to be lightened her with highlights it gets very dry and straight at the ends . I'm not sure if a lot of conditioning will help. This type of hair would be good for wavy Bob's or leaving street every day... with a certain look of dry ends which is OK for some people. I saw four colors in this piece and Ginger Brown is the closest to my hair color. Because finding a hair color match is the toughest thing with wig purchasing, i'm still deciding to keep it. Customer service has been very helpful throughout my journey and finding a fair solution.
